In-Kind Donations
The Donation Center is the source of the items that we provide to our clients such as:
- clothing
- shoes
- toiletry items
- blankets
- towels
- books
- food
MUST's Donation Center hours are Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (closed on Sundays).
MUST, as a non-profit organization, is able to provide our donors with a tax receipt at the time of your donation. At Christmas time we receive new toys for our Santa Shop. MUST does not distribute furniture, appliances or household items to our clients. We are occasionally in need of these items for our transitional housing apartments. Please contact the Donation Center at 678-581-8090 to ask if we are accepting these items.
We do not take:
- sporting goods
- lawn or garden equipment
- exercise equipment
- broken, soiled or thread bare items
Please consider that all items that we can not use require that we spend our funds to get rid of them. We ask that items are not left outside the Donation Center when we are not open. We can not provide a receipt for items left when we are closed.
The Donation Center is always in need of volunteers to manage the Center. There are two types of volunteer jobs; Donation's Ambassador and Donation's Administrator. The Ambassador works with the Center Manager (Jules Wakefield) to oversee the receiving and handling of donations. The Administrator provides our donors with a receipt, answers the phone and gives out general information about MUST and the Donation Center. If you are interested in being a part of the Donation Center, please contact the Volunteer Office at 770-427-9862 extension 1112.
The Center is located at 1210 B Kennestone Circle on the East side of Highway 41 (Cobb Parkway) opposite the MUST Marietta campus.
